Urban Zones: tax and social security
In our country there are 22 “urban free zones” in 23 Italian towns where, thanks to tax and social facilities create new jobs but also those redevelop urban neighborhoods where they live most vulnerable population. To this end, in accordance with the disclosure in recent months dell’s, the Ministry of Economic Development, resources have been put on the plate for a total of one hundred million euros to the disadvantaged areas of our country to ransom.
These, in detail, are the 22 “urban free zones”: Campo basso in the Molise region; Ventimiglia in Liguria, Massac Carrara in Tuscany, and Peccary in the Abruzzi region, Andria, Lecce and Taranto in Apulia, Matera in Basilicata.
And yet Erica, Gala and Actinia in Sicily, Quarto Sent Elena, Silesians and Calgary in Sardinia, Lamezia Termed, Rossano and Croton in Calabria’s, Velletri and Soar in the Region, and finally Montague, Tore Annunciate in Naples Campania region.
Urban Zones in small businesses may use operation with effect from 1 January 2010, facilities for contributory and tax, for example, payment of contributions to the ‘ National Social Security Institute (INPS), the ‘ municipal property tax (ICI), the regional tax on productive activities (IRAP) and the ‘IRES, the tax on business profits for a period of up to 14 years.
Furthermore, one hundred million euros allocated plus additional fifty million euros annually from what is called “Development Law” and in order to permit the identification of other disadvantaged areas in correspondence of which it may be possible to use the same way the benefits and facilities provided in tax and contributions.
